Replacing a PS3 40GB Hard Drive with a 320GB.

I finally got round to switching out the HD in my PS3. This was originally a 40GB PS3, I went out and bought a 320GB SATA 5400rpm 2.5" laptop Hard Drive from Best Buy for $65 to replace it with. This is the video of the install of the drive. Everything took a total of about 5 mins. The one thing I didn't need to do was a back up before hand, this is my secondary PS3, so I didn't have any data on it. All I needed to do was replace the drive and reformat it. In order to reformat the drive, you need to have a flash drive handy, plugged into the PS3 with update 3.15 on it when you fire up the PS3 for the first time with the new drive on it. It auto starts and shows you step by step how to format the drive. Worked like a charm, hope this helps! Thanks for watching.
